SGA-4 (previously named ARS) is a clear dermal solution effective at minimizing burn blisters and infections. Although it is acidic and semi-noncorrosive, it displays little or no corrosiveness to human skin or mucus membranes at a pH of less than .1. The SGA-4 solution will remain stable for over four years.
SGA-4 has not yet been submitted for FDA New Drug certification as a disinfectant solution. When it is submitted, however, we anticipate little or no concern because SGA-4 has undergone several laboratory tests for effectiveness against E.Coli, Staph aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, candida albicans and aspergillus niger. Bio Vir Testing Laboratories tested SGA-4 on food, environmental microbiology and as a disinfectant solution. The solution proved to be highly effective as a broad range disinfectant.
SGA-4 was tested also by Radix which found the solution very antimicrobial. In addition, Eurofins tested the solution for dermal effects. Eurofins found the solution to be noncorrosive to skin.
Finally, we have anecdotal tests conducted by people with various skin problems including cuts, burns, athlete’s feet, sores in mouth and even cancer cells on skin. All results proved that the solution could help in the healing process. These anecdotal tests were done by volunteers at their request. We are not medical personnel and did not prescribe any medication for testing purposes.
Even though we have not yet obtained FDA New Drug certification, we believe it will be successful. We are confident SGA-4 will be a leading dermal solution soon especially for use in treating burns to reduce blistering, swelling and infection.
